2. Hosting by STRATO
This website is hosted by STRATO. The provider is STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you access the website, technically necessary connection and access data are processed by the hosting provider in order to provide the website securely and reliably. This may include information about the requested content, date and time of access, browser and operating-system information, and connection data.
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in the secure and functional provision of our website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where STRATO processes personal data on our behalf, this is based on a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. According to STRATO, IP addresses in the log files made available to customers are anonymised; log files are available for the previous six weeks.
3. Contact form and enquiries
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide, in particular your name, email address and message, in order to handle your enquiry. If your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a tenancy agreement, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
The data will be deleted once the enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations or other legal grounds require continued storage.
4. Cookies, local storage and external services
This website does not integrate analytics, marketing or social-media services, external fonts or external map services. It does not use cookies or comparable technologies for analytics or marketing purposes.
To remember that you have dismissed the privacy notice, the entry wg_cookie_notice is stored only locally in your browser. This is used solely to prevent the notice from being displayed on every page view after confirmation. This information is not transmitted to third parties. You can delete the entry at any time via your browser settings; the notice will then be displayed again.
If analytics, marketing or other services requiring consent are added in the future, this privacy policy and the consent management must be updated before those services are used.
5. Recipients of personal data
Personal data is disclosed only where necessary to provide the website, respond to your enquiry, perform a contractual relationship or comply with a legal obligation. As part of hosting, STRATO may have access to technically generated data as a processor.
6. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to obtain information about personal data we process about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, and to request erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may also object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
8. Data security
The website should be provided exclusively via an encrypted HTTPS connection. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
9. Spam protection
The contact form uses a honeypot, a minimum completion time, server-side checks and a simple arithmetic question. The checks are performed exclusively on this web server; no data is transmitted to external CAPTCHA providers.
